Creating a proto-language for Akachenti has been a long, hard slog. Discoveries go here.

Syntax
Sentences were delivered in a topic + comment format, with the dominant word order as OVS. Polypersonal agreement and a tendency toward synthesis eventually created a slot-type polysynthetic language with noun incorporation.
