"I want you to find a nice girl,"
is what they said.
I have two ears. I hear them.
You're being a nice boy but stop.
I'm not a nice girl,
I do not say.
I haven't talked to people
for the sake of it, for years.
No matter what they tell you
about what it's like out there,
when someone makes the call
and you take blood on your soul to do it,
nice gets left behind
somewhere along the way.
Some people miss it.
I don't remember it to miss.
