Hey
You've always been there
Right across the room
You've never stopped to stare
At the lightning bloom
Beside me in the night
You didn't have to speak
Just guarded me with light
Until I fell asleep
Hey
Will you be there
When we're finally gone
Flown from everywhere
We lived when we weren't grown
Will you stand beside me
In the days to come
When you and I alone
Remember where we're from
Hey
You know I'll be there
Right where I have been
And I'll always care
When you need me again
We'll sit against the wall
Like we used to do
Saying nothing at all
And never needing to
