there is silence in the quality of your demeanor
and stillness in the tenor of your voice
and grace in every movement and expression
a calming peace to make the heart rejoice

I take comfort in this reassurance
I find relief within your warm embrace
when your arms will hold me or your gaze
shower on me that sweet and perfect grace

God of impossible (poem)

hope comes up out of nowhere
springing to life in my heart because
my God is the God of impossible things
no matter how dark before dawn
