		+	Team 8 is primarily a strike team. They are generally used for targeted, potentially lethal domestic operations but can also be deployed frequently in foreign operations. Team 8 is regularly deployed for clandestine or covert operations but generally does not engage in any long-term undercover assignments with few exceptions.

		+	The roster for Team 8 has only changed twice, once with the loss of a member and once with the addition of a new one. The Christian died in an anti-terrorist mission, where Whisper's revenge earned her the rank of top assassin in the entire Department. Red Wolf arrived at the same time as Justus of Team 34, but he was able to undergo processing and lost all of his pre-operative memories. He rose swiftly in the ranks before Storm made him first and the new leader.

		+	Team 8 has seven team members, all genetically modified humans. The team is involuntary, having never agreed to the work that they do, and they do not have any of the privileges afforded to teams with voluntary status.

		+	Storm was originally coded orange status, a potential risk and threat due to his protective streak, ability to regenerate and recover from any injury, and his consequential unconcern for any punishment meted out to him. As the leader of the team, this left Team 8 coded orange until he gave leadership to Red Wolf. Moving the team to coded green status permitted them additional privileges and removed several flags from off the team.

		+	The team has often worked with other teams, particularly those in their own facility. The relationship between Team 8 and Team 34 is respectful but tense.
